What's on your roof?

Most of the roofs here are covered with clay tiles which are very pretty and very practical.  Many of the roofs have vines and flowers cascading down the walls.  The greenery helps to soften the image of concrete and iron bars.  Most of the vines are flowering now.  It reminds us of Minnesota where we grow tiny maple trees in our gutters every spring.  Many large houses have white cupulas on their roofs.  At night they are lit, and then you know someone is home.  Ahora there is no snow on our roof.

  1. Let's see - we have snow, squirrels, crab apples, squirrels, snow, and snow. Yep - yours is way cooler.

  2. We woke up to sleet this a.m. so sleet is on our roof, on top of the snow :-) Your pictures are just beautiful, yes, I am jealous!
